Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is the basis to create a web page. Documents and applications that can run on top of a web browser generally has the format of hypertext markup language (HTML). Although now there are many tools or software that can be used to design a page in WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get), so what you see is what you will get like frontpage, Dreamweaver, Adobe GoLive, etc.. But you must keep control over HTML because HTML is the foundation if you want to learn and explore more about web programming. This shows that it is very important to learn the basics of HTML. Therefore, to be able to do programming on a web application you first need to master HTML.
Steps of Writing HTML documents:
before writing HTML, please Prepare Equipment needed: computer / laptop that has been installed Operating System, Application Notepad (windows) or Gedit (Linux) or another editor application, in accordance with your wishes.

Writing Code after you properly, Please run the results you created, by clicking on the file belajar1.html 2x and will automatically open a Web Browser Application (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Crhome, etc.). Then the result will be like the image below:
Brief Description:
Marking <html> that the Code is the code we write HTML code and at the end of the lid with the command </ html>.
<head> write code in here will not be displayed on the screen, showing only the section <title>, Text will appear in Title Bar
<body> this section that will have a lot of code and text, all who wish to be displayed on the screen should be written here
